Sweet ideas

Have you seen a cuter cake topper? Maybe a little too arts-and-crafts for our wedding theme, but I saw it and immediately loved it!
Speaking of cakes, I originally thought I had found the one, but after thinking some more and having more details gathered, I am starting to reconsider. Here are some nice ones that I may share with our baker to see what she thinks.

Fun gifts

Incorporating paisleys into the decor for the wedding has opened my eyes to all sorts of cute patterns. These cases would make a fun gift for bridesmaids or party hostesses to incorporate my green color scheme. Plus, they are on sale!

Mason Jars

To add a touch of Southern flair to the wedding, we are planning on using Mason jars around the reception as luminaries. I haven't found the perfect photo of our idea yet, but here is a variation of our idea...
I love the look of these berries in the Mason jars. So simple and fresh looking! Too bad the white "snowberries" aren't seasonal in October. We're planning on using green ones in our floral arrangements instead.

Details, details

This is backtracking a bit (I have some catching up to do on posts since so much is in the works) but I wanted to recap one of my favorite details so far. I received a tiny box that was shipped to our house and arrived right on my birthday. R set it out with the rest of the presents so I opened it up and I was so excited! It was this antique ribbon I had bought to wrap the bouquets:

Now, it is gorgeous on its own, but what makes it even better is that the paisley design matches the papers we are going to use for our invitations...
